Can there really only be a couple of days left of the Games? One minute there was panic about
insufficient security, poor transport flow and more people than we could imagine and the next we were being delighted by the world talent… It has been a truly amazing and inspiring event.
So what makes it inspiring? For me, the inspiration comes from watching the athletes give their all. They have trained so hard, pinning everything on the outcome of on event… 4 years of getting fit, training seven days per week, eating healthily and building their belief, their mindset.
The success stories have been endless; Jessica Ennis, Mo Farrow, Usain Bolt, Gabby Douglas, Charlotte Dujardin to name but a few!
Watching them unlock their potential reminded me that we are all here with a potential, a gift. Inside each of us is something that can make a difference but we have to believe it exists, take the time to discover it no matter what and find a way to share it with others.
Have you been inspired by the games? Who has been a stand out for you and why? And finally, what are you willing to do to unlock your potential and inspire others?
Live Blissfully!
