Optimistically Realistic

I love this term and it’s one I relate to – ‘optimistically realistic’Subtract Negative_Positive

Optimistic – Expecting the best…

Realistic – Aware or expressing awareness of things as they really are…

It is important to be realistic; being able to see things as they truly are. This will vary from person to person based on their life experiences. It helps you keep perspective.

Add to that the magic of being optimistic, of expecting the best, and you’ve got a winning combination!

So when you are looking to make life changes this combo certainly can help you get to where you want to go. As you map your way forward you can create a vision that is realistic to you, that feels possible even if you have no idea how you’ll get there and your optimism will drive you and inspire you.

Being realistic affords you the opportunity to see things from different angles and to appreciate both the negative and positive attributes of a situation.

Optimism doesn’t just boost your mood with the glass-half-full attitude it also strengthens the immune system. Good feelings assist in good well-being!

Taking a realistic stance will prepare you for the ups and downs. You are more likely to have factored in the potential issues from the start and therefore be in a position to figure out some solutions; so much better done in advance.

And don’t let anyone rain on your parade! There will always be those that will try to pour water on your optimistic flame. Keep focused, have faith in your decisions and remain optimistically realistic!

Optimistically Realistic

Whilst being an absolute advocate for optimism it is essential to ‘be’ on planet earth too! Are you being realistic about your journey forward? Have you taken on board there will be challenges and obstacles along the way? For every plan you make try to think of the things that might get in the way. Figure out solutions so that you can better manage them on arrival.

And have plenty of FUN!

Live Blissfully!
